Esther Wamera was born in Kenya in 1938 and is a retired banker and passionate activist. She regularly leads activists to various ministries to campaign on their human rights and recently attended the Open-ended working group on ageing in New York where she spoke about the age discrimination older people face. She works for All Saints Cathedral Senior Citizen Association in Nairobi, Kenya.
