Evelyn Marsters has a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Auckland. Her research interests include migration, transnationalism and remittances, health inequalities and gender issues and indigenous research methodologies. Her work to date has centred in the Pacific region, especially the Cook Islands and New Zealand. Mother of two, she currently lives in Berlin.
