Efrem Zelony-Mindell began studying photography and painting in High School at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach Florida and graduated in 2005. He graduated in 2011 from the School of Visual Arts where he majored in photography and minored in painting. Efrem is an independent curator, writer, and painter. His curatorial endeavors include shows in NYC: n e w f l e s h, Are You Loathsome, and the International Center of Photography-Bard's 2017 MFA Thesis show Familiar Strange.
He writes about art and photography for: DEAR DAVE, magazine, VICE, MOSSLESS, Posture magazine, aCurator, L'Oeil de la Photographie, along with others.
