Falak Zaffer Ghatala is an Indian born American Muslim. She was an Analytical Lab Manager in a Biotech firm prior to her foray into the non-profit world. Falak is the National Program Director of Hunger Van | Muslims Against Hunger, where she plans, coordinates and promotes interfaith events. She was invited to visit Palestine & Israel as a Muslim American Community Leader. She believes that when people work towards a single cause they go beyond their differences and reach for something greater – a sense of humanity. Inspired by L. A. Seneca’s thought, “Wherever there is a human, there is an opportunity for kindness”, Falak established her own grass-root non-profit organization called “The Do Good Foundation”.
