Fatemeh Sheida Gholamimehrabadi is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Accounting and Economics.

While at the University of Maryland she is a Smith Business Honors program student and the Finance Chair of the TEDxUMD organization. During her time off from school she has been an intern at the U.S. Department of State and the International Monetary Fund.

Being a second generation Iranian-American, she has been exposed to the struggles that developing countries face and the effects it has on the quality of life. This experience is the motivation behind her interest in economics and public policy.
