Fathima Imra Nazeer

Assistant Professor, SUNY - Potsdam

Fathima Imra Nazeer is an Ex-Muslim from Sri Lanka. She grew up in a devoutly Muslim family, spending her Sundays learning about Islam and the Quran in religious school. She has an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Ph.D in Biochemistry from the City University of New York. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the State University of New York in Potsdam.
