I'm a wife, mother, business woman, journalist, tv director & producer, bookworm, friend, - I"m opinionated on occasion & I tell stories.

I'm a journalist, media consultant, videographer and tv producer/director. She has worked in the media for almost 30 years including working for ITV, BBC & Comic Relief. I also like, on occasion to voice my opinion about things which interest, bother or annoy me. I try to bring a positive to a negative in all that I do. I don't believe in highlighting problems without suggesting some kind of solution, unless it's clearly not possible. Some of the UK television programmes I've managed include multiple UK regional award-winning current affairs series West Eye View, political show The West This Week, antiques and collectibles shows The Bargain Hunters and Beat The Dealer. On the national UK stage, I've worked on The One Show and Flog It! After setting up my media consultancy in 2009 following redundancy, I've offered media advice, ongoing support and training to many companies both large and small as well as sole traders and individuals from authors to artists. I also do talks across the UK about what journalists do and don't care about - and many other subjects around news, PR & marketing. Today as my business is growing I work with associate journalists and media professionals offering a range of different ways to tell stories and share news, through words, pictures, social media and videos. Outside the work environment, I'm is married to Steve and we have four children, three girls and a boy, ages ranging from 22 to nine. I"m a huge fan of reading and of the cinema, a film addict. I've a passion for antiques and collectibles and am an avid bargain hunter especially for things which are quirky or interesting. I love local history and have researched my own family history back to the 1100s. I live life to the full and am grateful for my family, my career and my friends and contacts.
