Fred Lundgren

Fred is the CEO of KCAA Radio. He's a "Libertarian Democrat" with roots in Austin politics.

Fred Lundgren is a life-long entrepreneur with political roots in progressive Austin politics. Fred has a wide variety of interests including 20 years as President and CEO of KCAA AM-FM Radio, a station he co-founded that operates on three frequencies licensed to Loma Linda, Riverside and Moreno Valley, California. His wife Linda is a retired real estate agent in Houston. Linda owns a Galveston beachfront rental business and other investment properties. Fred and Linda reside in Katy, Texas where they enjoy visits from their friends, their children and grandchildren. Fred Lundgren's career experience includes agriculture, state government, politics, broadcasting and writing. In his spare time, Lundgren writes opinion articles for Broadcast trade publications such as Radio Ink, Talkers Magazine and Radio World. In 2012, Fred became a contributor at the Huffington Post.
