Asenath Andrews, the founding principal of Catherine Ferguson Academy, is a native Detroiter with degrees from Olivet College, Wayne State University and did PhD. studies at University of Michigan. She was most recently honored by Newsweek's Daily Beast as one of the 150 Fearless Women in the World, Toyoto Mother of Invention and by Fast Company Magazine as on of the League of Extraordinary Women. This fall Ms. Andrews has been invited to be one of the speakers at the Pop Tech conference.
