Gabriel is pursuing a four-year JD/MPA program between Harvard Law School and Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School to study Middle Eastern comparative law and U.S. Middle East policy. Gabriel has been published on Fareed Zakaria's CNN/TIME GPS Blog, Forbes, The Diplomatic Courier, and other mainstream outlets.

Gabriel previously worked at the U.S. State Department in the Office for Israel and Palestinian Affairs and in the Senate as a legislative fellow to Senator Robert Menendez. Before entering the policy space, Gabriel worked for a business consulting firm providing strategic advising to American defense, international development and global stabilization companies operating in the Middle East. He has also lived in Jerusalem and volunteered for Peace Players International, an American NGO that cultivates cross-cultural relationships between Israeli and Palestinian youth. He holds a B.A. in economics and international relations from Stanford University.
