I grew up on the South Side of Chicago, attended University of Arizona for both undergraduate and graduate school. I took an additional MS at the University of Illinois where I taught writing for many years. I am a train advocate, a mother, a daughter, and a believer that "helpers", as Mr. Rogers calls them, are everywhere. My published books are entitled "Same Blue Chevy," and "Where The Time Goes."
