Gary M. Burge (Ph.D., Aberdeen University, Scotland) is a professor of New Testament in the Department of Theology at Wheaton College and Graduate School. Gary has authored a numerous books and articles on theology and the New Testament. He also specializes in the Middle East, its churches and its history in the Greek and Roman periods. His book, <em>Whose Land? Whose Promise? </em>(2003, 2013), received generous recognition from national journals. His book <em>Jesus and the Land: The New Testament Challenge to Holy Land Theology</em> (2010) explores the intersection of theology and the politics of Christian Zionism.
