Gary Coman

Gary Coman leads the Engineering and Develop organization for Corporate Affairs, the Corporate Social Responsibility group for Cisco. Gary’s teams develop simulation software, assessment systems, and learning games, packaged in comprehensive learning experiences for Cisco Networking Academies and other programs. The team also develops Connected Collaboration systems to enable and track the learning experienced for the 20,000+ Instructor Community, and the 1M+ Networking Academy Student population worldwide.

A 19 year veteran of the Information Technology industry, Gary has held various Executive, Technical, and Business Development positions with Cisco while living in Asia, Europe and North America. Prior to joining Cisco he managed Systems Engineering for GeoTel Communications, served as Director of Telecommunications for PCServiceSource, and as a Systems Analyst for Fidelity Investments.

Gary holds advanced degrees in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
