Gary joined Timex Group B.V. as President and CEO in January 2011. He is a global consumer products executive who has developed an extensive “growth tool kit” of expertise in marketing, new product development, international expansion and acquisitions.

Most recently, Gary was Global General Manager of Playtex, where he turned around this $800M unit of Energizer’s personal care division. Among his achievements at Playtex, Gary helped acquire the Hawaiian Tropic Sun Care brand, and expanded it internationally. He joined Playtex in 2006 as part of a turnaround team that sold the business to Energizer Holdings for $1.8B.

Earlier in his career, Gary worked for P&G on Gillette’s core product categories. He held a succession of global marketing positions each increasing in scale, scope of responsibility and complexity. By developing new products and focusing on transformational cost savings and productivity initiatives, he was able to deliver consistent profit growth. Some of Gary’s notable accomplishments at Gillette include doubling the size of the Gillette Oral-B business in a six-year period and the launch of Gillette’s most successful razor, Mach3.
