Associate Professor of Chemistry
Gregory Foy is an Associate Professor and Chair of Chemistry at York College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Foy is a section councilor for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Section of the American Chemical Society (SEPSACS) and Education Night chair for SEPSACS. Dr. Foy and Dr. Keith Peterman have created a program sponsored by The American Chemical Society (ACS) that has provided a unique opportunity for students from around the United States to attend the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of Parties since 2010. Drs. Foy and Peterman share a climate change blog (Global Hot Topic) which is hosted by the York Daily Record/Sunday News. Dr. Foy’s current research compares international teaching strategies on global environmental issues including sustainability along with the Climate Science Literacy project sponsored by ACS.
