Gina Coplon-Newfield directs the Sierra Club's Clean Transportation for All Campaign, which works at the national and state level to advocate for clean transportation choices, including with zero emission transit buses, safe bike lanes, transit oriented development, electric cars, or federal fuel economy standards that require vehicle manufacturers to provide consumers with more efficient cars and trucks overall. Coplon-Newfield, who earned a BA at Tufts University and a Masters in Public Administration at Harvard University, comes from a background in campaign management for environmental, human rights, and health organizations. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband, two children, and plug-in vehicle.
