Gina Scarpino

My name is Gina Scarpino, I'm 16 years old and I go to Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, California. I live with my Mom and Dad, and I have an older brother (who I'm am very close with) named Jack who is a freshmen at Seattle University. My main interest in and outside of school is journalism. I spend a lot of my time reading the New York Times and the Huffington Post, as well as investing a lot of time in working for my school's newspaper, The Campanile. Aside from journalism, I spend a lot of time doing photography and listing to/ playing music. And lately, I've also been spending a lot of my free time planning my second-annual book drive at my old elementary school, Duveneck. I held a book drive last year, which ended up being a huge success.
