Giorgio Cafiero is the CEO of Gulf State Analytics, a Washington, DC-based geopolitical risk consultancy. He is a regular contributor to the Middle East Institute, New Atlanticist, Middle East Policy Council, The National Interest, Al Monitor, and LobeLog. Cafiero is an adjunct fellow at the American Security Project and he is routinely cited by Bloomberg, Reuters, CNN, and Voice of America. From 2014-2015 he was an analyst at Kroll. Cafiero obtained his MA in International Relations from the University of San Diego (2011).
