Glenn Winters

Glenn Winters is Community Outreach Musical Director for Virginia Opera; his lectures, classes and radio broadcasts have made him a familiar figure to thousands of opera-goers in the region. His book The Opera Zoo: Singers, Composers and Other Primates is available from Kendall Hunt Publishing. Dr. Winters’ compositions include two commissioned children’s operas which have enjoyed successful state-wide tours throughout Virginia. He holds the Doctor of Music from Northwestern University.
