Author, television writer, world traveler, and inveterate bon vivant Greg White is also a former sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps His memoir, The Pink Marine, about that time is in stores now He is a bi-coastal, polo-playing, sixth-generation Texan with a voracious appetite for life. His book chronicles his time in pre-DADT Marine Corps boot camp. He served six years in the Marines, achieving the rank of sergeant. Truly a glutton for punishment, he went on to complete Officer Candidate School over the course of two summers after boot camp—effectively completing basic training three times. His writing credits include HBO’s <em>Dream On</em>, Norman Lear’s <em>The Powers That Be</em> and <em>704 Hauser</em>, Fox’s <em>Life With Louie</em>, Sony’s animated series <em>Jumanji</em>, and Disney’s <em>Social Studies</em>. <br> <br> He competed on Mark Burnett’s new TV show <em>On The Menu</em>. He has several other film and TV writing projects in development, both in front of and behind the camera.
