Gregg McBride

Author, screenwriter and blogger

Gregg McBride is a film and television writer/producer living in Los Angeles, where he works for companies including Disney, Paramount, Sony, Hallmark, FreeForm, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, and others. Upon graduating from college, Gregg tipped the scales at over 450 pounds and would literally be left breathless from having a conversation on the phone. It’s when he stopped looking for a quick fix and started using common sense that he had several breakthroughs, which resulted in his taking off over 250 pounds of excess weight in less than a year’s time (without gimmicks, pills or surgery) –- all of which he’s kept off for over a decade. You can learn more about Gregg and his strategies for mental and physical well being by visiting his blog, following him on Twitter or Pinterest, watching his videos on YouTube, or becoming a fan on Facebook. Gregg has made multiple appearances on the Today show and is the author of the best-selling books Weightless: My Life as a Fat Man and How I Escaped and Just Stop Eating So Much! Completely Revised and Updated. Along with The Huffington Post, Gregg is also a featured blogger for Psychology Today.
