BIO FOR HANK YULOFF Hank Yuloff is a targeted marketing tactician with over 30 years experience keeping companies “top of mind” with their customers. In high school, after winning a writing contest to attend a Beatrice Foods stockholders meeting as a field trip, Hank Yuloff was given a Cross pen and pencil set with the corporate logo as a remembrance. Years later that meeting continues to shape his career. After graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations he began his career working for two newspapers and then became a President’s Club member for both a direct mail company and a promotional products company (he was also one of their sales managers) before opening Promotionally Minded, in 1997. They specialize in targeted marketing plans (under the SedonaMarketing.com brand), logo development, client retention and appreciation programs, and run a nationally recognized promotional products company (that pen and pencil set the ball rolling). All of these brands have been combined into the Sedona Marketing moniker. He has many years of Board of Director experience for several non-profit organizations. Hank has received numerous awards for public service, including the Tami Ginsburg Celebration of Service award by the United Chambers of Commerce of Los Angeles. The award is given to the individual who, from amongst the 23 Chamber members, has shown a continued involvement in many facets of the community as a volunteer. He is the author of the three books on Marketing. The first is “49 Stupid Things People Do With Business Cards... and How To Fix Them.” He has two other books. The first is called, “The Marketing Checklist - 80 Simple Ways to Master Your Marketing” which became a New Arrivals Best Seller on Amazon.com. The second, “The Marketing Checklist 2 – 49 More Simple Ways to Master Your Marketing” became a best seller in 7 categories on Amazon.com. Hank and his wife of 25 years, Sharyn, host a weekly radio show with the same name, The Marketing Checklist. They are very excited to having opened a new branch of their company called Sedona Marketing Retreats. That company creates two types of 2 1/2-day events: For partner owned small businesses, they create custom marketing plans in a highly focused, one-on-one setting AND they also host small group marketing bootcamps in a mastermind setting for similar, major demographic entrepreneurs. In Spring of 2016, Hank and Sharyn finished filming an entrepreneurial mini-series with Brian Tracy called Living Your List. And he still has that pen and pencil set!
