Hassan Jaber

Executive director, ACCESS

Hassan Jaber is executive director of ACCESS, the largest Arab American human services organization in the country, providing more than 90 economic and social service programs including legal, immigration and advocacy services. ACCESS is also the parent organization for three national projects, the Arab American National Museum, the National Network for Arab American Communities and the Center for Arab American Philanthropy. Working together, these projects aim to empower Arab Americans and promote civic engagement through the arts, advocacy and philanthropy. Born in Lebanon in 1956, Mr. Jaber immigrated to the United States in 1977. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 1987 and a master's degree in public administration in 1993, both from Wayne State University in Detroit. He sits on boards and commission of numerous organizations on the state, regional, national and international levels.
