Health Care Without Harm

Health Care Without Harm is working to transform the health care sector worldwide, without compromising patient safety or care, so that it is ecologically sustainable and no longer a source of harm to public health and the environment. HCWH works closely with the health care sector to help it reduce sources of pollution, waste, and harmful emissions in line with the health professional’s pledge to “first, do no harm.” HCWH focuses on a number of environmental issues, such as chemical use and regulation, climate and health, green building and energy, and healthy food systems.
