Heidi Brod

Heidi Brod graduated from Emerson College in Boston. Determined to make her mark, she moved to Los Angeles and worked for New Line Cinema in Publicity. She returned to New York City in the early 90's to work for Calvin Klein as a Commercial Producer. She worked on several high profile advertising campaigns such as; cK Jeans, cK Be, Eternity and Contradiction.

In April 2001, Heidi began working at Miramax Films and soon became responsible for the story department. She worked closely with high profile writers and directors coordinating all phases for feature film production. Her responsibilities also included meeting with emerging artists in search of original content for development at Miramax Films. Heidi worked on such films as Shakespeare in Love, Gangs of New York, Like Water for Chocolate and the Broadway show, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

She recently finished her first teen Fiction novel, My Life In A Blender and lives in New York with her husband Jon and their two children, Caylin and Logan.
