Design, contemporary art and independent film enthusiast

Heidi Kim Thompson enjoys commenting on design, contemporary art and independent film. Having studied art history at Washington University in St. Louis, University of Toulouse-Mirail, and University of Paris-Sorbonne, she has worked in a variety of fields including product design in Paris, for a contemporary art gallery Fondation Espace Ecureuil pour l'art contemporain in Toulouse, and in television/film production in Hollywood, CA and Hong Kong. She has contributed to blogs and local news publications covering film festivals in Los Angeles and Biarritz, and has been mentored throughout her post-grad years by a variety of artists from avant-garde filmmaker Friedl vom Gröller to industrial designer Arik Levy. Heidi Kim has most recently represented 10 Chancery Lane Gallery in Hong Kong.
