Helen is the Founder of MENA based Future Entrepreneurs and CEO of BizWorld UAE. With more than 16 years of professional experience spanning marketing communications, non-profit management and entrepreneurship, Helen is a successful businesswoman and an active community member. She has been consistently recognized for her leadership skills, business acumen, and contributions to various social and humanitarian causes. After a decade in the marketing communications industry, she seamlessly transitioned into the fields of community development and entrepreneurship. After serving as the Jordan River Foundation’s International Relations and Fundraising Manager, Helen accepted the role of CEO at the Mowgli Foundation. During her time at the foundation, she accepted the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders on behalf of Mowgli which was named Best Mentor Network in the Arab World. Since 2014, Helen has been supporting regional startups drawing from her rich array of professional experiences and insights. Helen is considered a mentor and role model for young, aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs across the region on a volunteer basis. She is an Pro-bono advisor and Brand Ambassador to SEP, the Social Enterprise Project and a mentor with Jusoor Syria. Helen serves on the boards of Nakhweh.org, PACES, Lovin' Dubai and is also a member of the Young Arab Leaders and the Dubai Women's Council among other memberships and affiliations. Most recently, Helen has established BizWorld UAE, bringing the BizWorld.org program to the Middle East to develop entrepreneurship in primary and high school students throughout the region. Helen studied Politics and Law at the University of Manchester (UK). She completed her Executive Education at Columbia University Business School (US) and is a Certified Marketing Executive (CME). She is a mother, triathlete and adventurer.
