Henry Slater

A freshman at Princeton University, Henry Slater is passionate about human rights issues and loves to write.

Born in Tokyo, Henry lived in Japan for eighteen years. He went to Japanese preschool and kindergarten, and went to international school before going to the U.S. for college. Between high school and college, he spent a year in Dakar, Senegal teaching to preschool and elementary school students. He speaks Japanese, as well as some French and Wolof. He is passionate about global justice and social issues, and also enjoys reading books and cooking.
