Hal Herzog

The New Science of Human-Animal Relationships

Hal Herzog is Emeritus Professor at Western Carolina University. He investigates and writes about the ways people think about and relate to other species. The author of over 100 scientific publications, his articles have also appeared in the New York Times, Wired Magazine, the Utne Reader, New Scientist, and many other media outlets. He is the author of the book "Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat: Why It's So Hard To Think Straight About Animals" and writes the blog Animals and Us for Psychology Today magazine.
