Simon Hewitt read Art History under Francis Haskell at Oxford University, and has reported on art and the art market since 1985 for a welter of international publications, including Art & Auction, The Art Newspaper, Antiques Trade Gazette and Vedemosti (Moscow). His beautifully individual photography has been the subject of gallery shows in his adopted Switzerland and contemporary art fairs, as one of the few international specialists in Eastern Europe and Russian contemporary art, his services as curator and speaker are in constant demand from Budapest to Moscow.
