Hawa Fuseini

Poetess, Author of Nabila's Garden

Hawa Fuseini is a Nigerian-Ghanaian and American Muslim author and poetess. She recently published her debut poetry collection titled: Nabila's Garden in the summer of 2016. Nabila's Garden is an emotionally powerful narrative focused on how to overcome from heartbreak and loss, in order to achieve redemption through an understanding of Allah's love. She has performed at various universities such as Temple University, Rutgers University, and University of Pennsylvania. Hawa Fuseini was also the editor in chief for the Pennsylvania State University's literary magazine which featured poetry, art and photography. She has had her poetry featured on Talk Islam which is a large media forum for Islamic videos which features poets. Her goal as a spoken word poet is to positively influence the world by empowering men and women to be believers of Allah, engage the youth in activism and to instill confidence in men and women.
