Ecker founded Howard Ecker & Company in 1975 after stints at Studley (now Savills Studley), Cushman & Wakefield and Rubloff. Ecker is a member of the Board of Directors for Chicago’s Adler Planetarium. He earned a BA in Russian history from Tulane University and attended DePaul University College of Law.
