OIF vet, #ChristianSoldier & founder of @CenturionsGuild, author of #ForGodandcountry & #Reborn4thJuly

Logan M. Isaac, MTS, M.Litt is an Iraq veteran who has been writing the wake of war as an author, advocate, and academic since his honorable but reluctant discharge from the Army in 2006 as a Noncommissioned Officer. Before graduating magna cum laude from the largest private university in Hawaii, Logan became the first prior infantry platoon member of the Global War on Terror to return to his former combat theater before the formal troop withdrawal, as a research advisor and translator. An award winning author and experienced editor, his first book received a Publishers Weekly Starred Review and he has served as a consultant, contributor, or sole author of nearly 20 additional publications. As the founder of Centurions Guild, Logan provides ecumenical training for clergy and lay leaders ministering alongside past and present military personnel. He has also formed and led three on-campus student veteran associations and organized a record-breaking Veterans Day conference at a top tier research institution. Noted for his intellectual dexterity as a theologian-practitioner, he has been featured on the cover of Christianity Today Magazine and remains a widely sought after speaker, consultant, and workshop leader by churches, universities, and government agencies. Studying in the American South under ethicist Stanley Hauerwas and in Scotland under exegete NT Wright has made Logan uniquely suited for the theological versatility needed to construct a martial hermeneutic capable of bridging the gap between caustic ideologies that divide our national and ecclesial communities.
