Ian Mevorach

Theologian, Spiritual Leader, Activist

Ian Mevorach is the spiritual leader and co-founder of Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick, MA. He is also an adjunct professor at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, and is active in movements for social, racial, and environmental justice. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Middlebury College, an M.Div. from Boston University School of Theology, and a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics and Constructive Theology, also from Boston University School of Theology. Ian is an ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches, USA, and represents his denomination on the board of Creation Justice Ministries; he is also the co-founder and coordinator of the American Baptist Churches Creation Justice Network. In his writings on the Huffington Post Ian tends to focus on issues of interfaith dialogue and ecological theology. He is currently working on a book project tentatively titled "Love Your Enemies: A New Vision for Christian-Muslim Relations."
