Ida Hempel

Ida Hempel is passionate about connecting the dots in energy and the environment. Ida previously served as the President of the Harvard Council on Business and the Environment, and is the founder and director of Greenhaus, an accelerator for energy start-ups in Boston. In addition, she has worked with the MIT Clean Energy Prize and Pure Energy Partners, a clean economy advisory group. Ida holds a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, and is an incoming student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business joint MBA-MS program in Environment and Resources. In 2013, she was named by the Boston Globe as one of Boston’s “25 under 25” innovators.
