Dr. Ida Lichter is a psychiatrist who has spent most of her working life in the U.K. and Australia.
Ida Lichter is also an internationally known writer and commentator on women's rights in Islamic societies. Her book, Muslim Women Reformers: Inspiring Voices Against Oppression, is a standard reference in many American universities. The book contains profiles of about 100 reformers.
