Candidate of Montenegro for the Position of UN Secretary-General

Prof. Dr. Igor Luksic is the candidate of Montenegro for the position of UN Secretary-General. He served the Government of Montenegro in various capacities, including as Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister, and until recently Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. He is the Associate Professor at the Faculty of International Economics, Finance, and Business of the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, teaching courses of Economics and Development. Father of three children, he is fluent in English, and also speaks Italian, French and German. Dr. Luksic is also a published author of three books of poetry and prose “The Book of Laughter,” “The Book of Fear” (published in Italian and French) and “The Book of Doubt.”
