Imam Jamal Rahman, along with Pastor Don Mackenzie and Rabbi Ted Falcon -- now known as the Interfaith Amigos -- started working together after 9/11. Since then, they have brought their unique blend of spiritual wisdom and humor to audiences in the U.S., Israel-Palestine and Japan. Their first book, "Getting to the Heart of Interfaith" (Skylight Paths, 2009), brought the Interfaith Amigos international attention with coverage from the New York Times, CBS News and various NPR stations. They appeared at TEDxDU in the spring of 2011. Their second book, "Religion Gone Astray: What We Found at the Heart of Interfaith" (Skylight Paths), is being published in October. Their work is dedicated to supporting more effective interfaith dialogue that can bring greater collaboration on the major social and economic issues of our time.

Rahman, a Muslim Sufi minister and co-founder of Seattle's Interfaith Community Church, is author of "The Fragrance of Faith" and "Out of Darkness into Light."
