Ebony Combs began her career as one of six women to become the first-ever national ambassadors for My Black Is Beautiful (MBIB)—a global Procter & Gamble initiative designed to empower and encourage Black women and girls. For most influencers becoming a national ambassador is a career, but for Combs it was just a springboard for her other pursuits: philanthropist, entrepreneur, host, author, and freethinker. Ebony’s insights and eclectic understanding of social media and brand partnerships has made her a sought-after expert on influencer marketing, social media, entrepreneurship, and online reputation management, having appeared in numerous major media outlets around the world – including appearances in O, The Oprah Magazine, EBONY, Essence, Sophisticate’s Black Hair and Uptown magazines. Combs has also been featured on BET, TMZ, WFAA-TV Channel 8, Texas’ ABC Affiliate, WWL-TV Channel 4, New Orleans’ CBS Affiliate, Divas & Dorks and Cocktails with Mom. Aside from being an authority on professional and personal development, branding, and social media culture, Ebony is recognized throughout the beauty industry and the country as a talented influencer and trendsetter. She is creator and CEO of The Brand Me Global Group, a Dallas based firm designed to position key influencers, brands, and entrepreneurs using social media and organic brand connection. In March 2015, Ebony launched #BareBrunch, an annual single moms initiative. Since its inception, the brunch has hosted 2 intimate groups of single moms in the state of Texas and gearing up for its third in Fall 2017. Combs – along with other fruitful guest experts – offer practical advice for attendees in the areas of finance, beauty, media, entrepreneurship, public relations, and wellness. A proud alum of Oklahoma State University, Combs owns both her Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership Studies, Higher Education and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Human Resources.
