Ipsita Paul

This is 37! Broadway performer, dancer, actor, wife, mom & author of a children's book for multiracial children & families: I'm Awesome Because.

Always an entertainer, Ipsita has played a myriad of roles on and off Broadway, as well as guest starring and recurring roles on daytime and primetime TV.

She is best known for her portrayals in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond, the Broadway production of Footloose and the Broadway revival of The Music Man. Ipsita has also carved a place for herself on the big and small screens, working on ABC's General Hospital, the indie film, A Broken Life and various National TV commercials and print campaigns.
Ipsita is a classically trained dancer and attended York University on a Fine Arts scholarship. Throughout the years she received many dance and theatre performance scholarships in New York, Los Angeles and Canada which contributed to her success. She has trained with Chet Walker, Mia Michaels, Adam Parsons and Wes Veldink. She has also studied with some of the "greats" in the acting community such as Lesly Kahn and Lewis Baumander.

Ipsita's performance in Contact earned her an NAACP Theatre Award Nomination for Best Actress and her portrayal of Cha-Cha in the Los Angeles CLO production of Grease received standout reviews.

Having traveled the globe, Ipsita is trilingual, a lover of interior design & fashion, occasional workouts, astrology and a solid challenge. Since having her two children, she has delved deeper into her creativity and added 'author' to her resume. Inspired by her own kids, I'm Awesome Because is an uplifting children's picture book for multiracial children and families.

Not having lost her edge, Ipsita is looking forward to the next adventure and maybe starring opposite Johnny Depp in his next film!
