F. Elwood and Eleanor Davis Professor of Law Emeritus, George Washington University Law School
Ira C. Lupu is the F. Elwood and Eleanor Davis Professor of Law Emeritus at the George Washington University Law School, where he joined the faculty in 1990. Lupu has published widely on issues of constitutional law, with an emphasis on the religion clauses of the First Amendment. Lupu has also served as professor of law at Boston University, professor-in-residence (on the Appellate Staff of the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice 1989-90), and visiting professor at the University of California, Berkeley.
