Irene Chidinma Nwoye is a Nigerian freelance journalist based in New York. Since graduating from the Columbia Journalism School in 2014 as a Pulitzer African Fellow, she has written for Slate magazine, the Village Voice, Okayafrica and Quartz Africa. She is a proud bad feminist who enjoys writing about women's rights, immigration and the Nigerian diaspora.
