Isobel White is a writer, communications consultant, and mom. As a writer, her work has appeared in the East Bay Express, Equal Means, the Sun, on KQED radio's Perspectives series, and in various anthologies and curricula. She is currently at work on an anthology about parenting. As a consultant, she helps nonprofit organizations shape public opinion in support of progressive agendas. As an activist, she's spent the better part of 3 decades fighting for what she believes in. And as a mom, she had to use this photo from two years ago because there's no time to take a current one.
