UNEP professional focused on integrating environmental issues in finance & economic decision-making
Ivo Mulder coordinates the economic and finance work on REDD+ and sustainable land use for UNEP, as part of the UN-REDD Programme.
Previously he worked at UNEP Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) where he set up and directed the Natural Capital Declaration (now rebranded as the Natural Capital Finance Alliance - NCFA), a USD 6 million project that is finance-led and CEO-endorsed to mainstream natural capital integration in the financial sector.
Ivo has more than 10 years of experience working for the UN, private consulting firms and with non-governmental organisation on building the case for companies and governments to tackle environmental issues from an economic perspective. He's published more than 40 articles, reports and blogs and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
