Growing up in south Alabama, I married my middle school sweetheart and have a wonderful family of 5. I love the beach, fishing, hunting, my Tasmanian Licking Dog, and reflecting on life's little lessons. In 2008, I found Gulf Breeze, Florida and put roots down to make this beach community my home. I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a bachelors in Religion and have a MDiv from Emory University. However, the school of life has really given me the most education as I have adopted the mantra "Love one. Love another." I've been a full time pastor since 1995 with the last 8 in a beach bar setting. I have a heart for sharing God's love and hope with folks who have been disillusioned with traditional church. I am enchanted with the little lessons that life shows us as we live in this world and find that most folks are looking for glimpses of hope. I write a weekly article for the Gulf Breeze News called "Jack in the Box" with helpful life lessons. I hope this blog helps share that enchantment and hope with the world! Love one. Love another.
