Jacob L. Wright belongs to Emory University’s Faculty of Distinction and teaches Hebrew Bible in the Candler School of Theology. Publishing widely on the subject of war and national identity in the ancient Near East, he is the author of "Rebuilding Identity: The Nehemiah Memoir and Its Earliest Readers," winner of a 2008 Sir John Templeton Award.
