Jacqueline Adamescu

High school English teacher who has tattoos and only eats plants.

Jacqueline Adamescu is a high school English teacher, writer, and activist who spends her free time reading books and watching films endlessly. Her favorite genres are sci-fi and horror (this sums up her personal aesthetic quite well). She has published personal essays in two books: 'Letters to a New Vegan' (Lantern Books, 2015) and 'The Vegan Studies Project: Food, Animals, and Gender in the Age of Terror' (U. of Georgia Press, 2015). She founded the feminist crit-lit zine 'Project Intersect', self-published annually, and sometimes speaks at book fairs and conferences on topics such as feminism, ethical veganism, and punk politics. Jacqueline lives in Los Angeles with her partner.
