Jacquelyn Mitchard, is a New York Times bestselling author and the editor of Merit Press Books, a brand-new imprint from F+W Media specializing in provocative, moving, and suspenseful real-world novels for readers 14 and older. She is the author of 24 novels and books for adults, young adults, and children, including 'The Deep End of the Ocean,' the inaugural selection of the Oprah Winfrey Book Club, named by USA Today as one of the most influential books of the past 25 years. A longtime journalist and teacher, Mitchard is a faculty fellow at Southern New Hampshire University, and a contributing writer for More magazine, among others. She lives on Cape Cod with her family.
