Whilst studying law at Cambridge, Jacynth found she was growing tired and frustrated at seeing women like her mum being treated as invisible and irrelevant in Fashion – largely because of their age and changing bodies. Determined to cut through ageism in the Fashion Industry, as soon as she graduated it became her mission to start the first multi-label premium online boutique that truly celebrates and empowers women over 40. And the-Bias-Cut.com was born. Furthering the cause, Jacynth has founded the Facebook forum Ageism Is Never In Style, has contributed to an internationally published book, regularly speaks on panels and podcasts, and is a ViewVo accredited business mentor. Plus she is the weekly ‘Style Advisor’ for one of the largest 40+ online forums in the world. And in doing so, she is fast becoming recognised as one of the UK’s leading experts and pioneers of recognising style at every age.
