Jake Arky is a writer and performer originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. Theatrically trained in the University of Utah’s Youtheatre Conservatory, he began writing and producing original plays in his junior year of high school. He’s the two time recipient of the Utah Theater Association’s Best Original Play (The Copyboys Revolt 2003, The Game of Life, Love, and Tragedy, 2004) and the youngest playwright produced in Speaking Ring Theatre Company’s 2003 New Works Festival in Chicago. He was last seen onstage in 2008 in his play My Friend Dahmer, an adaptation of the graphic novel by Derf and produced by First Look Theater Company in New York City. Jake completed his B.F.A. in dramatic writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He currently lives in San Diego, California, where he is the managing director the live-storytelling company, So Say We All.
